‘Midday Adventures 2’ unveils image of Behnoush Tabatabaee

‘Midday Adventures: Blood Trap’ by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian, has unveiled new image of Behnoush Tabatabaee.

A Fajr contestant, ‘Midday Adventures: Blood Trap’ by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian, has unveiled new image featuring ifilm star Behnoush Tabatabaee.

The revealed image of ‘Michael’ star shows her in despair. Her makeup for the movie suggests she has a different role being all scruffy and distressed.

This is the second time ever that Tabatabaee has appeared in a period drama movie after ‘Cyanide’ directed by Behrouz Shoeibi.

Behnoush started her artistic journey as an actor taking a role in ‘Damoon Alley’, (1999). Since then, she has been in various films and TV series; some of which have been aired by ifilm such as ‘A Passenger from India’.

The new flick is a sequel to Mahdavian’s political drama ‘Midday Adventures’ and follows its story which has portrayed the terrorist atrocities of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization in Iran during the 1980s.

Among many awards and nominations it gained, the first sequel of the film won best film award from the 35th edition of the Fajr Film Festival.

Besides Tabatabaee, Hadi Hejazifar, Hasti Mahdavifar, Mohsen Kiaee, Javad Ezzati and Hossein Mehri star in the new cinematic venture.

This second sequel to ‘Midday Adventures’ which has been produced by Cimaye Mehr Cinema Company will premiere at the 37th Fajr Film Festival.

Established in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, the festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.
